Global Scholar Alumni Association

Welcome to the Global Scholar Alumni Association (GSAA)—a network for alumni and affiliates of the Hauser Global Law School Program at NYU School of Law.

The GSAA aims to actively engage scholars in a vibrant intellectual community, building upon the conviction of the HGLSP that the study of law and legal practice exceeds the bounds of any particular jurisdiction. It provides a forum for dialogue and exchange to continue beyond your physical stay at NYU and to bolster future work and scholarship in the field.

Currently, we offer online access to issues of Global Focus—the official e-newsletter of the GSAA—by following the links at the right. You can also access the full transcripts of our "Close Up: Global Faculty" series of interviews with leading scholars from around the world.

We have an ambitious plan for the development of the GSAA. Future projects may include an Alumni Working Paper series, as well as an interactive Web site that contains an alumni database, alumni profiles, and global law resources. Many of you have already submitted helpful suggestions for the development of the GSAA, and we welcome any additional ideas you may have for the association. Please be assured that we are working hard to bring these ideas to fruition, and we look forward to updating you as we make progress in expanding this exciting new initiative!
