using the NYU system.
- In general, students will register and participate in courses during NUS Semester One (August-December) and NUS Semester Two (January-May) using the NUS system.

Students should note the following basic policies, which will also appear in the full
compilation of procedures:
- Regular attendance is a prerequisite for the award of credit in any course;

The rules or policies stated herein are subject to change without prior notice. Subsequent promulgation and exceptions to
these rules can be made only by the Director of the NYU@NUS programme or the Vice Dean of NYU School of Law.
As a general rule, except as otherwise noted, the rules and policies applicable to NYU Law School LL.M students are
applicable to students in the NYU@NUS programme. It is noted, however, that the Director of the NYU@NUS
Programme or the Vice Dean of NYU School of Law may enforce these provisions in a way at variance with the standard
rules and policies as either in his or her discretion deems necessary to accommodate logistical, scheduling, or any other
differences between the LL.M. programme in New York and the dual degree programme in Singapore.
