Exam Resources

Schedules and other important information on examinations can be found on the Office of Academic Services website, including the Spring 2008 Examination Survival Guide, ExamSoft and THES, and postponement requests.

There will be an exam workshop at the end of each semester just for LL.M. students on exam preparation and exam-taking strategies. The workshop covers:

• how to use course outlines
• how to use practice exams
• test-taking skills, including careful review of the question, outlining, time management, issue identification, use of authority, and tone
• critique of sample exam answers
• the use of study groups
• the grading curve
• any questions you may have

An email will be sent during the semester giving the date, time, and location of this workshop.

4/21/2008 - As May approaches, all of us start to focus on the end of the semester and, alas, examinations. On Monday, April 21 at 1PM in Vanderbilt Hall 220, we'll be hosting a workshop for LL.M. and Exchange students on exam preparation and exam-taking strategies. This workshop is entirely optional, but strongly recommended. An in-class examination will be administered, with an evaluation after the exam.
