Classes to Observe
All of the classes open to observation are held in Vanderbilt Hall, 40 Washington Square South or Furman Hall, 245 Sullivan Street.
Prospective applicants must pick up a pass to gain access to Vanderbilt Hall (VH) and Furman Hall (FH). Passes are available at the Law School Welcome Desk, Furman Hall, 245 Sullivan Street. You may also download the self-guided tour which will serve as your building pass. Please note that you must have your pass stamped by a Law School security guard at the entrance to either Vanderbilt or Furman Hall before entering the Law School buildings.
Please be aware that classes are scheduled to begin on January 14. The last day of class for the Spring 2008 semester is April 29 . The Law School will not hold regular class meetings on the following dates: February 18 and March 18- March 21.
Not all Law School classes can accommodate visitors; the classes listed below are the only classes offered this semester that are open to observation by prospective students. The instructors are providing a courtesy to prospective students by allowing them to visit. Please return that courtesy by arriving early for the class, introducing yourself to the instructor, and inquiring if today is an appropriate day to accommodate an observer. We ask that you sit at the back of the classroom and do not enter a class after it has begun, nor exit while it is in session.
These classes are open to observation by prospective students to the New York University School of Law only. The Law School regrets that other interested parties cannot be accommodated.
