On December 4 th 2003, New York University School of Law welcomed Professor Romano Prodi , President of the European Commission to speak to an audience of distinguished guests, NYU faculty, international fellows, scholars and students of NYU, amongst others. Professor Prodi, was introduced and welcomed by Dean Richard Revesz and Professor Joseph Weiler and presented a lecture on the subject of Cultural Diversity: An Asset in an Inter-Dependent World . The lecture was followed by a question and answer session in which audience members were invited and encouraged to participate.
