The Hauser Global Law School Program, in conjunction with the International Center for Transitional Justice, hosted the Inaugural Annual Lecture on Transitional Justice on November 18, 2004, celebrating its addition to NYU School of Law's distinguished annual lecture events.
The co-sponsorship of this lecture rises out of the synergy between global law and transitional justice. While neither of these fields of inquiry can be wholly subsumed by the other, both the Program and the Center realized sufficient connections to offer this annual lecture. Each fall semester, the Hauser Global Law School Program and the International Center for Transitional Justice will invite a renowned scholar or practitioner to speak at the event.
